The powerful RadView AutoBill™ feature eliminates the need for charge entry and charge review. Based on information already collected from the patient's exam, RadView applies one or more built-in claim profiles, that automatically add the appropriate CPT codes, modifiers, TOS codes, POS codes, ICD-9 codes and ICD-9 assignment, based on rules which are defined and maintained in the system. These rules allow claims to be created differently based on the patient's insurance profile, clinical history, reason for the visit, and billing status.
The one-step AutoBill feature ensures that billing procedure and policy is automatically applied to each claim to significantly reduce billing errors that may prevent or delay reimbursement. This process also ensures that no information is lost, and that every study made and every procedure reported on is automatically billed.
Fee Schedules
RadView includes a flexible fee schedule management system that allows you to create multiple fee schedules, and assign fee schedules based on rules, or combinations of location, insurance type, insurance company, provider group and billing entity. Amounts within fee schedules may be specified in fee schedules, or indexed against other baseline fee schedules. Within each fee schedule, you can track the billed amount, the allowable amount and the expected amount for each procedure. Fee schedules can be periodically uploaded from published sources or other files which may be available.
Department Management
RadView allows the user to create and manage department codes for billing that may be used to group procedures within production and financial reports.
Billing Code Categories
RadView includes support for user defined CPT category codes that may be used to group procedures within billing and financial reports.
