Mosaic Implements MagView to Streamline Workflow

ST. JOSEPH, MO — Mosaic Life Care – Breast Care recently made the decision to replace their existing Mammography Information System (MIS) with MagView. Implementation is underway to bring a suite of mammography workflow solutions to the medical center in St. Joseph.

When asked what influenced their decision to purchase MagView, Jennifer Davis, Lead Mammography Technologist, stated “The ability for MagView to tailor to the specific needs of our Mammography Department was second to none.”

She stated: “MagView had the best software to streamline our workflow.  MagView has definitely set the standards for Mammography tracking systems.” Other specific selling points included “…a highly integrated system that provides many benefits such as reduced risk of error due to duplicate data entry, improved technologist workflow, time savings, and improved patient care.”

The suite of solutions implemented will allow for tighter integration between existing systems, including their existing PowerScribe dictation system and pathology system.  The team is also deploying the Tyrer-Cuzick risk model with collection of patient history on a tablet. The mammography technologists will use the TechPad which will support a more mobile workflow and enhanced patient experience.

“We are so excited to incorporate MagView into our Mammography Departments workflow to help with patient throughput,” Davis added.
